weather zone 299 Kern County Desert. Fire weather zone 579 West
Side Hills. Fire weather zone 596 Tehachapi Area. Fire weather
zone 597 Fort Tejon.

* WIND...GUSTING TO 35 MPH

* HUMIDITY...5-15%

* HIGHEST THREAT...is FAST-MOVING GRASS FIRES

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
