Alert Details:
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of interior northern California, including the
following counties, Placer, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El
Dorado, Glenn, Nevada, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano,
Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Tuolumne, Yolo and Yuba.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1030 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to locally
heavy rain. This is causing urban and small stream flooding.
Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
over the area, highest amounts in the foothills. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding. California
Highway Patrol has reported roadway flooding in the area.

Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, Elk Grove, Roseville,
Fairfield, Vacaville, Chico, Citrus Heights, Folsom, Turlock,
Davis, Rocklin, Woodland, Ceres, Paradise, Galt, Oakdale,
Oroville and Auburn.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Alert Details:
* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 with gusts 40 to 50 mph for Sierra
valleys and 50 to 60 mph with gusts up to 100 mph along the
highest peaks. For Lake Tahoe, south winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts
up to 50 mph and wave heights 2 to 4 feet.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM PST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Information:
Now is the time to secure loose outdoor items such as patio
furniture, holiday decorations, and trash cans before winds increase
which could blow these items away. The best thing to do is prepare
ahead of time by making sure you have extra food and water on hand,
flashlights with spare batteries and/or candles in the event of a
power outage.

* WHAT...Southerly winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 to 50 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Carquinez Strait and Delta, Sacramento Valley, Northeast
Foothills and Northern San Joaquin Valley.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM PST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest winds expected through late
afternoon.

Information:
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Alert Details:
* WHAT...Wet snow expected above 7000 feet. Total snow accumulations
of 3 to 6 inches south of Highway 50 with 12 to 18 inches at the
highest peaks. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada above 7000 feet.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 10 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
evening and Friday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels above 8000 feet through Thursday
night, then lowering to around 7000-7500 feet by Friday morning.

Alert Details:
* WHAT...Wet snow above 8000 feet. Snow accumulations up to 4 inches
above 8000 feet and up to 2 inches between 7500 and 8000 feet.
South winds 10 to 15 mph gusting to 25 mph in Sierra valleys, and
winds gusting as high as 60 mph along the highest peaks before 4
AM. On Lake Tahoe, wind gusts up to 25 mph with wave heights up to
2 feet before 4 AM.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to noon PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Friday morning commute. Strong winds
could cause damage to trees and power lines.
