* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Arizona, including the following areas, Central La Paz, Gila River Valley, Kofa, Parker Valley and Yuma and southeast California, including the following area, Palo Verde Valley. * WHEN...From 5 AM MST /5 AM PDT/ early this morning through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Abundant moisture has moved into southeast California and southwest Arizona and this will help to bring scattered thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall by late morning and through the evening hours today. Localized rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are likely to occur. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Information: You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. |

Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered showers and thunderstorms will spread northward across the area today with the most likely time for more widespread and heavier rainfall from the morning through early evening. Some thunderstorms may produce locally heavy rainfall, which may lead to flooding.
